Farsi and Myanmar language ebooks available at no cost
This Fleeting World by David Christian, first published in English in the United States, is now available at no charge to readers across the world in both Myanmar/Burmese and Farsi/Persian, thanks to the efforts of the translators and their colleagues and supporters. Their efforts began on different sides of the world. Both projects were inspired by a common desire to provide readers in the Middle East and in Asia with a short but expert history of our shared human past. Berkshire Publishing is known for publications with a global perspective, and has been pleased to see This Fleeting World translated into a number of languages by other publishing houses. In this case, it has not been possible to cooperate with local publishing houses. The ebooks are therefore being distributed through all possible channels globally, at no charge, in the hope that this shared human story will enlighten and inspire readers who might otherwise not have access to this important knowledge – knowledge for our common future.
The PDF editions are available for download at the links below. If you would prefer an ePub file, you can signup here for Farsi or here for Burmese. The ebooks are being distributed internationally and can be found on Kobo and Apple as well as other distribution platforms that handle those languages. (Amazon and Barnes & Noble do not.)
