June GRASSO June earned a PhD in modern Chinese history from Tufts University. She is now an associate professor of social science at Boston University’s College of General Studies, where she teaches courses on modern China, Russia, and the Cold War. She also teaches an online course entitled “The Rise of Modern China” for Boston University’s Metropolitan College’s distance learning program. Her publications include Modernization and Revolution in China (3rd edition, 2004), coauthored with Jay Corrin and Michael Kort, Truman’s Two-China Policy (1987), and articles on U.S.-China relations.
