Gregory VEECK Gregory Veeck is a professor in the Department of Geography at Western Michigan University. He specializes in economic geography, agriculture, rural development, and rural environmental and ecological issues. Most of his research focuses on Asia, and he lived and worked in China for a number of years. Recently, he has been working with the Rural Development Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on a study of the health of grasslands in Inner Mongolia.
