If you happen to be making your way to New York in early January for the annual meeting of the American Historical Association, please do come about to a session called “Globalizing Historical Reference Volumes: Treats and Caveats” on Monday 5 January at 8:30am, organized by Pierre Yves Saunier of the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique. I was honored to be asked to join the panel to talk about what has been grandly titled, “The Berkshire Experience.” I welcome any suggestions, especially from those of you would have used or helped to create our global historical volumes.
