Privacy on a beach: the right to be left alone

Privacy is the right to be left alone. Your privacy, as a customer or author or colleague, is vitally important here at Berkshire Publishing, and this page sets out Berkshire’s new Privacy Policy revised as of 25 May 2018. (Yes, that’s the date that the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation came into force.) We have long made it a rule that we will not sell, rent, or give your name or address to anyone. It has always been easy to use the links at the bottom of our emails to unsubscribe to any (or all) of our mailings.

If you haven’t subscribed, here are links to two popular letters:

We also have separate email lists for teachers and librarians who only want to hear about world history, say, or Chinese-language publications. Click here to subscribe.
