Machines (and more) in Movies, Books and Music

The HCI in Popular Culture database was developed as an appendix to the Berkshire Encyclopedia of Human-Computer Interaction and it brings together 300 novels, nonfiction books, movies, and television programs-and even some music and plays-that explore imaginative perspectives on our relationship with technology. These popular creations show another side of the world covered in the encyclopedia, and provide historical background as well.
