This Fleeting World continues to garner press attention in China

This Fleeting World CITIC coverBig history is international, and Berkshire is excited to be launching David Christian’s short history of humanity on the world stage with partner publishers like the renowned CITIC Press in Beijing. This week we received the first copies of the Mandarin edition of This Fleeting World, joining the Japanese and Vietnamese editions out this year. The Mandarin edition is beautiful, showcasing the best of Chinese book design, and we were delighted to learn that it got a huge six-page feature in the Beijing News Book Review, as well as articles in People Daily and Jiemian.
The title of the book comes from the Diamond Sutra, an ancient manuscript discovered in western China, so in a sense this story really belongs there, in the Middle Kingdom.
