Faith by Proxy

Faith or damnation by proxy? I was doing some research for my new book and happened upon a website called Faithbyproxy.com. Evidence that the Internet has something for everyone! It’s really quite amusing. I like the idea of using technology to simplify faith.:

At Faith by Proxy we are dedicated to ensuring the salvation of as many people as possible. Our systems are designed to hold beliefs, on your behalf, with unwavering faith. This allows you to receive all the benefits of actually holding the beliefs yourself, but without the need for you to personally believe any of it!If you feel the need to pray, our custom e-Prayer system will help you send prayers to the Gods of your choice – even Gods you may not have previously known about. By sending your prayers to multiple Gods, you increase the likelihood of reaching one that actually exists!Atheists, freethinkers, agnostics, and other skeptics can also benefit from Faith by Proxy. Our advanced computer systems are capable of doubting religious beliefs just as well as they believe them. In fact, we can be skeptical and devout simultaneously! Thanks to Faith by Proxy, everyone can now live their life without giving a second thought to religion!

Religion is a crutch like alcohol, drugs, sport etc. I repect all religions but wonder whether we are heading again towards war in the name of religion as opposed to solice in the name of religion?
